2. UGA Research and Education Garden

If you have a passion for nature, you’ll have to check out the UGA Research and Education Garden, which spans 65 acres. This is an eco-friendly attraction and is located on the campus of UGA Griffin. There are picnic areas and free parking. The Garden is home to irises and daylilies, which bloom from mid-March to mid-April. They’re grown from seeds, cuttings, and tubers. Additionally, among the flora that thrives in the garden are many kinds of orchids.

3. The Club at Shoal Creek

The Club at Shoal Creek is a beautiful 18-hole course around a large lake. It features rolling fairways and trees characteristic of this area of the country. The club offers numerous driving stations, a driving range, and practice green.

Since its opening, it has added new facilities and improved its overall playability. In addition to the course’s amenities, the Club at Shoal Creek has undergone a partial reconstruction in recent years to improve the overall playability of the course and to ensure that wildlife and other wildlife in the area are comfortable.

4. The Bailey-Tebault House

The Bailey-Tebault House was built between 1859 and 1862 and is now the home of the Griffin/Spalding Historical Society. It is a historic structure in Griffin, Georgia that was used as a field hospital during the Civil War. You can take a tour of the historic home to learn about the area’s history.
